On March 29, 2025, the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus made its Curran Theatre debut with Broadway, Our Way, as BroadwayWorld’s Stephi Wild previewed, bringing nearly 300 singers and more than 20 dancers to the house where Wicked premiered.

A program of hope
BroadwayWorld critic Steve Murray framed the concert as a response to ongoing attacks on LGBTQ+ people and the arts. The program included “Light” from Next to Normal, “You Will Be Found” from Dear Evan Hansen, “Sunday,” “Megasix” from Six, “Keep Marching” from Suffs, and a mashup of “Over the Rainbow” and “Defying Gravity” arranged by Saunder Choi. A tribute to Stephen Schwartz included “Corner of the Sky” and “Beautiful City.”
Murray praised Nicholas Slater’s solo in “I Know Where I’ve Been” from Hairspray, and featured numbers from The Lollipop Guild and HomoPhonics.
“perhaps one of their most important and stunning concerts to date.”
