The Chronicle’s entertainment listings for the week of September 21, 2006, announced Joan Rivers with the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus at the Herbst Theatre, 401 Van Ness Ave., with film critic Jan Wahl as emcee. Tickets were $40 to $75, and the show started at 8 p.m.
