Former Interim Conductor
Dale Richard, an SFGMC member, served as an interim conductor in 1982 alongside Robert Erickson and Claude Zetty while the Chorus searched for a permanent music director.
Richard helped lead From Ops to Pops, the Chorus’ May 1982 concerts at Stanford University and Davies Symphony Hall. The program combined opera selections with popular songs and performances by the Chorus’ smaller ensembles.
