Robert Erickson was an SFGMC member who stepped forward as one of three interim conductors in 1982, alongside Dale Richard and Claude Zetty.

The trio led the Chorus’ spring program, From Ops to Pops, at Stanford University and Davies Symphony Hall, bringing together opera choruses, Cole Porter songs and Disney favorites. Erickson is deceased and is remembered in SFGMC’s Fifth Section memorial.
